The Minister's cat is a restful cat

Today, Saturday has been a day of rest for me. Aside from a lot of suctioning I didn't do much today. Between meals I rested and read up on spinal cord injuries. I went to do my physio and they hadn't left the mirror out this weekend, then the gym was full of people so I couldn't practice my driving. It is a day of recuperation.

  1. You have been working so hard and making steady progress - enjoy a quiet day and relax. You will be hard at it again shortly. We are all in awe of your determination and commitment.

  2. So Saturday was quiet eh? This is good, you need to pace yourself and not try to do it all at one go. For me to read up on a subject is relatively easy. For you, it is more like work, there is much more effort required as I understand it. I hope you were able to enjoy some peaceful communion with our Lord, instead of being busy with various tasks.
Sleep well John, blessings to you and Laverne...

  3. God guides you and I feel this strongly. I am glad you had a day to rest. The sun was out yesterday, the ground covered in frost, I was leaving for work and had just read your blog. I remembered being behind your house in Castlegar and we were playing on the road and you had to go down to your Aunt Pegs. God gives us so many good moments. I thank God you are well and safe. With love, Don and Alexa

  4. Even the Lord rested one day and who says that it needs to be on a Sunday.

Your body needs a time to rest to be able to "build", I am sure that your spirit also needed to have this "rest" to be able to connect better without "distractions" of things to do.

I am sure this day was totally well spent
