The minister's cat is a meek cat

Over the past couple of days my voice has deteriorated. Then I read Matthew 12: 18-20 where Isaiah is quoted referring to Jesus. It says his voice will not be heard meaning he won't argue or shout but speak to those who want to hear. I would like to speak to some of the patients and nurses at GF Strong but have not yet found an opportunity. Please pray that I will find occasions to share my faith. Also pray my voice will return strong.

  1. Your voice will always be strong - even if at times you need some one else to read your words. It may not always sound like John but the words will carry your message loud and clear.

  3. When you are telling a story to a group of children and you are speaking softly there is a much bigger chance that they will be quieter in order for them to hear what you have to say.
And then there was Moses who needed someone else to do the speaking for him.

I will pray for you that your voice will stay strong and powerful, but it might not be the way that you think it should be. Maybe your voice is stronger when it is not physically strong.

May God use you the way He sees fit. He knows your heart, that you so gladly want to show others who He is. Your faith and your voice speak volumes in ways you do not see.

  4. Hi John,

Kitty's note covered everything!! and said quite beautifully!!!

We are praying also John that opportunities come up for you to share your faith. God has a way of making it happen. I'm sure the ones you want to speak to already know of you and are waiting to hear from you....

    Love to you both....
