No extra visiting at present

After not having a fever for a couple of days he spiked another temperature this morning. In spite of it being the weekend they have called in specialists. The infectious disease doctor was in to see him today. He ordered a lot of tests and until some of them come back his visitors are restricted to 2 designated visitors. This will probably be for quite a few days. Right now he is so tired he really doesn't want to see people anyways. Please continue to pray for healing for John and wisdom for the doctors.

  3. Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. We continue to uphold you all!

  4. Thankfulness: Virtue.
Thankfulness is a way to get perspective when things don't look good. It is a way to grow when painful things happen, by looking at the gifts which are always there, even when they seem hidden. Learn to receive as it is blessed to give, and blessed to receive. You know everyone needs to have the opportunity to give, including the people who care for you. Thankfulness helps us to appreciate little things, however trivial they may seem. Thankfulness is a path to contentment and you are practising this when you count your blessings every day. Thankfully the specialists were available on the weekend.
I am thankful for being in the right place at the right time twice this week - I helped save a dog's life in an accident and helped save a young man I found lying face down in a parking lot unconscious. Thankfully..... counting blessings,

I think of you through the watches of the night.
Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; Your right hand upholds me.
