FROG again

Joshua 3:7 The Lord said to Joshua, "Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you." This morning I woke up wondering what God had in store for me. In fact I had begun to wonder if their was anything he wanted from me. No, it wasn't standing in the footsteps of Moses and leading a great people but instead it was discovering my limitations and my continual need to be F.R.O.G.-fully relying on God.

  1. I've noticed that there aren't a lot of comments posted so I thought I woul make one.

I've known John for years, and although we haven't had that much contact since I moved away for school. The times we've had a chance to chat have always been a joy as he is a fascinating person. I just wanted to let you know that although I don't comment often I still come to this site and read the daily blog updates and I think it is a wonderful thing you are doing.

    Please keep it up.

  2. Good Morning John and Laverne

Just popping by to say Hello...we are getting ready to go to church...Peter has learned the sound board for the worship teams, and I'm greeting today. While we carry on with what God has given us, we do so miss Laverne on the keyboard, and her keeping us in tune!! :)

It's been cold and frosty up here, with bright sunny days. I missed the last Kids Club of the year as we had tickets to go to the Dickens Christmas banquet at Dwight Hall. We had a fantastic time. I'll be back to Kids Club in the New Year. I'm sure you've heard we have about 40 kids registered!! I pray God sends back up should they all show up at once!!

You both continue to be on our hearts and in our prayers daily. Thank you for including us all in your journey John, and Laverne, for giving us specific areas to pray for.

    Much love,
    MariAnn and Peter

  4. Hi John and Laverne

I am looking outside and see that the Lord has been busy with his paint brush. The sun is going down and the ski has a beautiful pastel color.

A few years ago, my brother and his wife were here from Holland and they saw a beautiful site as well. He commented that he always thought that this was what they could only see on a picture, enhanced, as this was surely not for real.

But you have seen these wonderful sunsets before. I do not know what you can see from where you are, but if you close your eyes and you think about it, you can picture what it looks like and just imagine how much God enjoys putting there wonderful colors in the ski to show us how magnificient He is.

Just wanted to share this with you
