More Tests

Wednesday, September 16, 2009
I've made two trips from my room this week, one for an ultra sound, the other for a CAT scan. It seems the doctor wants to gather as much information as possible. I hope that he can do something with it! I would like to start with talking and graduate to moving the wheelchair.
I really missed Laverne when she was gone but I had a visit from my former doctor Tom, as well as Marsha and Katie. I still feel tired a lot of the time. Pray for me

  1. Woo hoo! Travelling...that's awesome! Hoping to hear about more feeling returning too. Glad you're getting lots of company...would so love to be able to come and visit you. Keep that beautiful smile going...it's so good to see, and to hear day to day how things are going. Love reading your stories, John. Love and hugs to you all, and daily prayers too.

  2. Hello John, feeling tired...well your body has a lot of work to do in the healing process, it needs time. My guess would be that when you feel tired you should respond by resting body and soul, allow yourself a well-deserved break. Mental activity is often as exhausting as the physical one. Thinking about you every day. Big hugs to you. Marie-Josée...not sure about how this posting comments goes so I selected anonymous profile

  4. Hi John and family:

It is funny, how, in a short time, the small room becomes the world.

But you have the grace to live "outside" your body and that little room. You have all the freedom in the world through HIM.

I loved the story of grandmother. I come here daily to keep updated but also to remind me to continue praying.

  6. Psalm 63:6-8,"On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because YOU are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me." How sweet to the Lord is the sound of your voice John--It is the voice of your heart that HE knows the best. And it is the voice which HE still hears. God can-and is-speaking volumes to others through you. How many can speak with literal voices yet never utter one word to the very One Who created them? God knows you John--and He knows your "voice" so very well. He is listening--lay your petitions before Him. Love in Christ, Kathie Pritchard
