One Month

Friday, September 18, 2009
Today Laverne told me it had been a month. To me it seems more like one day over and over but the one thing that is common to each day is casting my cares upon the Lord Isaiah 26:3. Whether it is one day, one month, or longer I know he cares for me 1 Peter 5:7
People have been asking about visiting. John is very happy to have visitors. Don't plan on staying more than half an hour as he tires quickly.

  1. Hi John
No wonder that you are confused about the amount of days. With the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. (2Pet. 3:8, but you know that you do not need to take more than you can handle at one time, if that is only one day at the time, well so be it, and in the end we do not need to look back at some things either unless it is possitive.

I was reminded of the following scripture: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. ( 2Cor. 4:16-18)
Continue to look up John and Laverne, only good comes from there

    wishing you well
