Equipment pre-approval

Yesterday we received a letter that most of the funding for John's wheelchair has come through. Please pray with us as we decided what to do about those items that are not covered - some would have been nice but not necessary. We need wisdom to decide if some are really necessary. It is exciting after all this waiting to think we can finally order the wheelchair. Also continue to pray for John's health as he is not 100% yet.

I think that decisions made in HIM are the ones that are true. And you are both leaning on HIM.

Happy Father's Day John!!!!

It is good you have the funding for the wheelchair..It will be nice to have your own.

We pray God will lead you to know the necessary items you need to help you in everyway. It must be most difficult for you both having to decide about all these things.

We pray John you are feeling better and stronger to overcome all these setbacks.

We pray comfort and peace be with you both...

Calm in the storm - blessings and praises

1 ATV was on the trail minutes after Johns accident. He was able to get help ASAP while Laverne was able to stay and assist.

2 The cement blocks had been removed from the beginning of the logging road so that the ambulance could back in right away.

3 The nurses at the hospital were the right ones. One worked with John and one graduated with Laverne. They were Connie and Ellen.

4 Good friends Lee & Don, Bob & Pat were at the hospital quickly.

5 Laverne was able to fly with John on the Medivac helicopter as this is unusual.

6 In vancouver Beth Sykes a Cascades church friend was coming on shift on ICU after a week in Mexico.

7 Tom Freeman a friend was in town to Visit John the first day.

8 The many prayers and help. Those who have helped by taking DVBS, feeding cat, gathering belongings, (and bringing them down), and getting the bikes home.

9 Karen from 100 Huntley St called out friend Patricia and said she sensed that a close friend needed prayer.

10 Sister Eleanor was able to get a quick flight and be there before surgery.

11 John was able and ready to get a tracheotomy in good time instead of days or weeks later.
