Chair

Monday, August 31, 2009.

For the past two days John has been sitting up in a chair for 4-6 hours and has tolerated it well.
Today he says "Yesterday I asked for a sleeping pill. I slept well but still feel drowsey. I spent a lot of time thinking about Psalms 45. One of my nurses has worked here for 22 years. I am in good hands and in God's hands.

  1. "Warrier, strap your sword at your thigh: gird on your splendor and majesty. In your majesty, succeed, ride on in the cause of truth, meekness and righteousness".....yes beautiful. Ride on John and "let your right hand teach you awsome things." We are proud of you. Let HIS kingdom come and let HIS will be done, let John and Laverne know the fullness of it all!! Blessings...

    More love from the Tanasiuks

May the Lord bless you and keep you, you are all in my thoughts and parayers many times every day....much love, deborah

When we heard of the accident, I think we were somewhat like Christ's followers after the crucifixion:disheartened, discouraged, maybe even questioning our faith in our heart of hearts. But we are reminded of Christ's great victory. And like the apostles, we wait to see how the glory of God is revealed. And as Mark said, though we may question, we are all here tonight, together. John and LaVerne: thank you for the great blessing of faith that you have helped to nurture in us.

What a scary thing to happen, I really felt for you both now that your lives have changed completely. God will be with you on your new journey. Love Mike.

    Dear Laverne and John,
we had a wonderful bible study. Everyone was here and you both must had your ears ringing. We talked about everything and Tom did a good job to keep it together. We went of the wagon a few times but Tom kept order. Mike didn't know about what happened to you, we had some time to digest it a bit. Our prayers to you and Laverne and God's blessings. Love Inge-Lore
P.S. How is Katie? Hope she is better.
