Under the Christmas Tree

It is the day before Christmas, and I contemplate the gifts that Jesus has left under the tree for me. When He was born the angels proclaimed:
Luk 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
and
Luk 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
So, present 1 a Saviour, 2 peace, 3 God's good will. Then I thought of John 17 where Jesus prays for us:
Joh 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
But, enough. Now it is your turn.
What Christmas present has Jesus given you?

Forgiveness. Jesus has forgiven me much and through that gift has taught me to forgive others.

Calm in the storm - blessings and praises

1 ATV was on the trail minutes after Johns accident. He was able to get help ASAP while Laverne was able to stay and assist.

2 The cement blocks had been removed from the beginning of the logging road so that the ambulance could back in right away.

3 The nurses at the hospital were the right ones. One worked with John and one graduated with Laverne. They were Connie and Ellen.

4 Good friends Lee & Don, Bob & Pat were at the hospital quickly.

5 Laverne was able to fly with John on the Medivac helicopter as this is unusual.

6 In vancouver Beth Sykes a Cascades church friend was coming on shift on ICU after a week in Mexico.

7 Tom Freeman a friend was in town to Visit John the first day.

8 The many prayers and help. Those who have helped by taking DVBS, feeding cat, gathering belongings, (and bringing them down), and getting the bikes home.

9 Karen from 100 Huntley St called out friend Patricia and said she sensed that a close friend needed prayer.

10 Sister Eleanor was able to get a quick flight and be there before surgery.

11 John was able and ready to get a tracheotomy in good time instead of days or weeks later.
